To be quite honest, I don't get your attitude.
Do you want the band to front up with all the costs of running Triviumworld?
The joining fee is pretty much nothing. To me, US$20 or however much it is is petty cash after the money I've spent going to gigs in other countries and on merch and cds. If you can't afford it, that's just too bad, but if you can, why not?
If you don't wanna join just because you feel you shouldn't have to pay... there's a simple solution.
Don't join.
It's not about being a fan... no one is MORE of a fan just because they belong to Triviumworld.
And besides, loads of bands have fanclubs that require a joining fee. Trivium aren't doing it just to spite you

basically aIm all cool with it because of the goodies, you know the dvd and stuff, however I feel that the special rewards and pre-sales tix n stuff should be offered to other people who perhaps still deserve it, for example people who are members here, there could be a mailing list etc etc, so in lots of ways im in a mood with it lol
its all about having us whove given time and energy feel at least appreciated
like when we used to get thanks vids posted on youtube and linked here

Ah fair enough. So you'd like to see more stuff offered to those not in the fanclub?

yes they definately have

we used to have Paolo on these boards regularly filling us in on happenings, even just chatting and having a laugh, Matt was on every so often aswell
we used to get lil blogs from them all up in the announcements and whatnot, we also used to have a HUGE supply of vids on trivworld before it became the official fanclub, and not many people wouldve known about trivworld if they werent a member over here

So I'm guessing activity diminished on here a bit since triv world started? I mean I actually having trivium on here to say hello is pretty rad but clearly that doesn't happen anymore which is a shame.
I mean trivium is like my fave band but I still don't have a great urge to join triv world.
