well for me it was my sister who found them, she's seen them live 4 times now and says they're awesome!!! so i started listning to them, and havn't stoped since, this started in 2006, my fav songs are Down from the sky, To the rats and Kirsute Gomen. I love Trivium they kick everyones arses :)

I saw the video for "Like Light to the Flies" in 2005 i think, and i said to my brother "this is what Metal should sound like". I bought Ascendancy soon after and it's still one of my favourite albums.

I used to hate the band since back then I was so close minded and only listened to classic rock or old school metal. Then people said they sound like metallica, like wtf I was curious so I looked em up and heard Ignition. I thought this band sounds nothing like Metallica but fuck they shred! That was like in 06 I believe

i was at my friends house back in 2006 and he started playing gunshot and it frightened the hell outta me!! the heaviest thing i'd heard b4 then was blink 182. but straight away i was hooked!! went and got all there albums soon after

I just had friends that listened to them and told me to listen to some of their stuff off Ascendancy and I loved it

I was in my friend's truck in 2007 when he put on Ascendancy and when it went from the intro to rain, I knew I was hooked for life. I don't listen to other metal as much anymore but I still listen to Trivium all the time.

I was playing Saints Row 2 and heard Anthem on the radio. I checked youtube after and I liked all their songs. They've been my favorite band ever since!

Was looking on roadrunners website a little before Ascendancy came out and they had a song up(dont remember which one) and Ive been a fan since.
