how do i get this kind of sound?

Posts: 1 Member #: 17,448 Joined: 09/15/2009	Hi! I've been lookin' everywhere how to get the effects/distortion of the solo from the song "The Deceived". It starts at 3:41. The sound that i'm talkin' about sounds like two guitars but I'm certain that it's only one guitar doing that. I also heard it from the master of puppets solo (3:52). I also heard this one dude using a line 6 spider 2 amp doing that sound and have a line 6 flextone 3, which is better than the spider 2 and I can't find that on my amp. Is it my guitar? PLEASE! PLEASE! HELP ME! Thank You!!!!!

Just play around with it. Lots of fuzzy gain is all you really need, thats all I hear on Jester Race
