How do you want Shogun to sound like?

I would prefer a mix between Ascendancy and Ember to inferno. I didn't like The Crusade at all =/ I think that Ascendancy have way better riffs and solos than the crusade, the only exception is the high-noted riff in TC's title track, gotta love that one
And I'm new here so sorry if this tread already exsits.

Seriously. I honestly laughed out loud when I heard it. Stop it Matt, with the silly, juvenile, lame lyrics. The "screams" were cringe/laugh worthy too.

Yawn.
You can't knock the man for improving his vocals.

plus the screams are usually layered, its not like he'd use that bare scream

July 22, 2008 2:19:18 PM UTC Post #8

they sounded like ascendancy screams to me anyway :S

July 22, 2008 2:40:57 PM UTC Post #9

The screams I've heard come out of Heafy as of late have sounded stronger to those on Ascendancy, to me anyway...

Huh.. I don't really know what you mean by 'layered'

he screams a few takes, or sings , whatever, and they put them together to creat a fuller sound
they do it loads on the maiden cover
