How do you want Shogun to sound like?

Posts: 1022 Member #: 21,193 Joined: 09/15/2009	To me they sound weak and forced. It just doesn't seem natural to him anymore. He should probably stop trying to please the fans, and do what's best for his voice.

It's clear that The Crusade was a transition phase for him vocal-wise, and he always talked about going back to screaming through that time. He just wanted to improve his technique so that the screams sounded better and didn't damage his voice as much.

Posts: 1929 Member #: 14,945 Joined: 09/15/2009	I never remember him saying that now im not gong to argue cos I dont really care, as long as he's happy and stuff sounds awesome, than Im happy its just an interesting thing, after the furore of him changing to the crusade vocal style and exclaiming that he never liked screaming and the only reason he did it was cos he couldnt sing when he was younger and stuff, i dunno i dunno sell outs :P:P im joking, im assuming he just felt it was time

Posts: 10945 Member #: 11,486 Joined: 09/15/2009	I'm pretty sure Shogun will feature clean vocals, and screams.. and if they both sound good, what's the beef? I would much prefer a Trivium album with both vocals styles than just all screaming or all clean singing..
