I happen to think that triviums songwriting is just as good as their solos, both being superb. And no there aren't a million metal bands who are technnically better than trivium, there are few and probably none that have made a bigger impact on metal than trivium in the last year. I said Triviums song writing is great and im not trying to take credit away from them. Yes they can play their instruments and play them well and their song writing is good but everyone seems to think just because they have solos in their song they are the best metal band ever. I also said that their are bands out their that are better than trivium TECHNICALITY WISE not technically dipshit.

Just go to the last few post in the thread titles Travis and then everyone will understand what Im was trying to say cause some one finally either got it or agreed and im not trying to take anything back trivium is great but their are better bands out their thats not taking anything away from them...sorry if you got that impression

Ember to Inferno is Melodic Death so if you're singing "My Hatred" or "Pillars of Serpents" you're fine!
But I would class screaming as more a hardcore thing really.
