Ibanez RG vs PGM
September 16, 2009 1:55:46 AM UTC Post #1

I need a guitar with a trem again now...

So do I route one into the PGM or trade it for an Ibanez Rg550 and £100?

Put an Original Floyd into your PGM, it shall become godly.

Basically dude. The PGM's a great guitar, so just g in your dads garage see if he has some the tools for the job. Any proper house should have them . And stick in a new floyd.

Fork out the money and get a trem on the pgm. It will be well worth the cash.

Hmm. Maybe there is a site where I can download some templates for the routing, or something with the dimensions on it.

I'd also have to change the pickups, PAF Pros are great, but a little more output would be nice.

I was thinking of them... But around Southampton I can't find anyone who uses them so i'll have to go by word of mouth, which I don't normally like

Get a professional to do the routing. Because if you fuck up... your fucked.

I agree. What about the neck aswell, i'll need it cut for a locking nut... Surely that'll cost a fair amount too?

It might cost less to just buy another guitar..
