Inception of the End is one that I've loved since I first heard only the 30 second amazon clip that they put up like a month ago, and is still one of my favorites.

Gosh, I don't know if I can pick a favorite. I was going to start naming my favorites, but it started to be most of the album. Hell, I will anyway..

Capsizing The Sea / In Waves - Epic intro, gets me pumped for when the main song kicks in, and is a fun listen.

Inception of the End - Catchy and heavy all the way through.

Dusk Dismantled - Same as Inception, awesome screaming sound on this track. Matt/Corey have evolved their sound amazingly compared to the older stuff.

A Skyline's Severance - Brutal and Technical. Love it.

Built To Fall - So radio friendly that it almost shouldn't be a Trivium song, yet... so very catchy and just fun to listen to. Awesome.

Caustic Are The Ties That Bind - I love when it breaks into the quieter part, a surprising one.

A Grey So Dark - So very short, and so very awesome.

Of All These Yesterdays - A softer song compared to the rest of the album, but doesn't make it bad. An awesome closer.

Yes that was a list of my favorites... y'know, most of the album haha.

I have been changing my mind so many times to which song is my favorite. Over the last 30 hours I have a considered all of the following as my favorite at on point or another. In order as they appear:

Dusk Dismantled
Watch the World Burn
Black
A Skyline's Severance
Caustic are the Ties that Bind
Forsake not the Dream
Drowning in Slow Motion
Chaos Reigns

Trivium wasn't kidding when they said on the Into the Mouth of Hell We March tour that this would be the greatest Trivium record.

I only REALLY liked A Skyline's Severance, Dusk Dismantled, In Waves, Inception of the End and Shattering the Skies Above.

All the rest are great songs, don't get me wrong, but to me, they can't compare to above-mentioned songs. Songs like Of All These Yesterdays and A Grey So Dark seem way too mainstream for Trivium, and it reminds me of The Crusade.

Call me a false fan, but most of the songs on the album just don't seem like they belong in the same sentence as Trivium.

I haven't visited the forums in a while but I love this new album, so I just wanna show the love! I'm really happy with the new album, it has something for everyone without compromise. I thought Shogun was my favourite Trivium album and now i'm not too sure, I can't decide!

Hi, I've just started to join in this forum, but let me say:D

Frankly speaking, there's no shitty song. All songs are awesome!
Especially I love In Waves, Inception Of The End, Watch The World Burn, Buit To Fall, Caustic Are The Ties That Blind, and Forsake Not The Dream.
I love some of them in aspect of lyrics as well as music.

I feel Forsake Not The Dream has similarity with The Deceived, which is verrry great and beautiful.
Till now there's been no day without listening to the songs of In Waves.

And let me say I'm addicted to The Deceived and Ember To Inferno in DVD :D

In Waves - Starts off amazing, kinda lacks a really strong verse imo. Still a great song
Inception- Kinda feels drawn out like it lasts a little too long. I still like it.
Dusk- Pretty solid track, a little on the repetitive side though.
Watch the World Burn- Has a really good mixture of everything. no complaints.
Black- Good song, reallllly repetitive chorus. But the verses are amazing.
Skylines Severance- I love this song, the breakdown and the solo are amazing.
Ensnare the Sun- Meh
Built to Fall- Reminds me a little of Dying in Your Arms, but overall it's a really good/catchy song.
Caustic- Easily my favorite on the album, the solo section sounds amazing and the clean vocals sound perfect.
Forsake- The instruments on this song are amazing, I just think the lyrics are "Forsake not the Dream" for about 45 seconds straight though. I like the song just feel it needs another verse.
Drowning- Really intense vocals and instrumentals all around good song.
A Grey so Dark- This song is really good and has an amazing chorus, not to mention one of the albums best guitar solos.
Chaos- Pretty intense song, solid instrumentals I think the chorus could be better though.
Of All These Yesterdays- Truly an amazing song. Matt displays some pretty amazing clean vocals here and the sound of the guitars unique along with the chorus.
