I don't know about European currency, but I know Schecter guitars are good for the money. You may want to look into them.

Basically Schecters are nice guitars with a very moderate and affordable price. They endorse artists like Nevermore, Avenged Sevenfold, Tommy Lee, Byzantine, Haste the Day, Martyr AD, Reflux, and the Misfits. Their highest-end models run around 800 bucks USD, whereas you'll find a high-end ESP model at 3000 USD. Their guitars look great and are very conservative at the same time. The necks aren't ultra thin, but they're definitely good for rhythm guitar. They offer baritone 7 strings also, which is what Jeff Loomis uses. These are on a 26.5" scale, which I wouldn't suggest for a person with smaller hands or a new guitarist. But definitely recommended pricewise and playingwise for an intermediate player.

Yeah thanks, i will look into some schecters..
Well i do play bits of guitar already, i play guitar on the side of drums, and my hands are quite big lol..

And also franman, do you suggest a good model?
one with nice shape and playability?

Ive had alook at them, im not a big fan, because i want something more weireder than the standard guitar shape.
but i do quite like the tempest extreme, i might look into the prices of those.

do you want a floyd or a fixed bridge and also would you consider buying used? there are some pretty good guitars on ebay. but make sure you know what your getting if you do.

well my ibanez has a floyd rose, so its not totally essential.
sure, I would get a used guitar if it was worth it, but I find getting good deals off ebay is harder and harder.
and the ex-400 I found I mis-read, it was 600 =( and I really like that in white.

Okay well, you probably would like a C series. They have the Schecter Blackjack and Schecter Hellraiser, which come in both six string models and seven string models, and also baritone models. The main difference between the Blackjacka nd the Hellraiser are the pickups. In the Blackjack, it has Seymour Duncans, but in the Hellraiser, it has EMG's. Also I think the Blackjack's cutaway is slightly higher than the Hellraiser, meaning you can reach the higher frets easier on the Hellraiser. Also you can get either the Floyd Rose tremolo or have a fixed bridge. I prefer the tremolo, and they have a 6 string Hellraiser with Floyd Rose that looks really sweet.

May wanna check it out.
Also for a different-looking body, check out the Hellraiser Avenger.
