Isn't this the same thing that kind of happened to Cati ( sorry if i spelled it wrong) I remember talking to her briefly and she was pretty cool and down to earth, at that time she didn't seem to be annoyed by people, but wasn't sure if she went through the same b.s or what?

cati talks to fans.. which is totally her choice and she has made a lot friends. she gets annoyed by all the personal info she gets asked. so far she's been pretty lucky with people not stealing her photos. i have a private profile and still get messages of people telling me i'm a bitch because i won't talk to them. but if you got harassed and exploited like i did, you wouldn't be talking to strangers either! i guess it's because matt doesn't have a profile and i'm their desperate attempt to get to him?

Why not just make a prifle, but set it to private, and set it so that people need to enter a surnam or something to access it. obviously you'd just tell your real friends about it and give them the "surname" your using?

Those are relatively new features, and personally I wouldn't even bother with it if I had to go to those kind of measures so that people would leave me alone.

yeah it's been private for a long long time now. i had a myspace years ago, trivium got famous faster than i had any idea. then all of a sudden this all happened. i deleted the profile. made a new private one. people still find me cause they see me at shows and recognize my face, but they can't see photos or anything, so who cares. trust me, i did all i could. it happened quickly and unknowingly. i, with the help of some kids on here, got everything taken down and sorted.
i use myspace to keep in touch with a lot of friends ilving far away without having to phone call them. so.. that's the risk i take now. but i'm not uprooting my life for some assholes.
no big deal.. didn't intend to bring it up again, just wanted to answer that kids question. i'm always trying to speak some truth!
