Iron Maiden tribute

Anyone heard of The Iron Maidens? They are an all female tribute to Iron Maiden, based in California. I absolutely love hearing these girls playing all my favourite songs and as a female guitarist, it's very inspirational to me. Some people might not like the female vocals, but musically I think they sound exactly like the real thing.

I've heard of them, but haven't ever actually heard any of their material. I know they'll usually come up in discussions at any gig I've been to where an Iron Maiden tribute band is playing (the most common one here is Up the Irons). Got a link to anyplace where I might hear some of 'their' songs?

The guitar playing is quite sloppy, but they're not horrible.

I've seen Nicko in an Iron Maidens shirt too, plus he's played The Trooper and Wrathchild with the singer and bass player. He said he's rather look at Wanda's ass than Steve's anyway!!

Yes However it is perfectly fine, you are forgiven
The Iron Maidens are actually pretty good.. They pull off the tracks so i suppose they deserve the credit.

Yes, I have heard of them and I like the vocals a lot, as well as the guitar playing. It's not easy covering a band that has so much character, but I think they pull it off. The production and mixing, however, is lacking a bit, in my opinion.

I'm glad you like them! I think they're awesome and through them I discovered one of my favourite bands, Phantom Blue who Linda used to drum for. I agree about the production tho - can't have it all tho!;)
