Yes, they really are worth it at their own headline show, its pretty spectacular
Just be aware that Axl will mess the crowd around big time, if you expect a wait and his antics then its really worth it
When I saw them at wembley I would say it one of the best shows I have ever been to, seeing the classics live really made me, and my mum smile!

Pfft
bumblefoot > slash any day.
he has tone, taste , technique, and flare.
I wouldnt go see GnR simply for the cat that Axl rose is my least favortie artist and person next to hitler.

I plan on seeing them December 1st in Ames, Iowa...*checks avatar* oh yeah, they're STILL Guns N' Roses. Watch vids on YouTube and you'll see they're still JUST as good.

Slash may not match Bumblefoot, but for sheer presence, and his icon status, he cant be matched. When you say Guns N Roses, most people dont think of Axl Rose screaming his testicles off in bicycle shorts straight away, they think of Slash, in the desert in front of an old chapel, breaking into that solo for November Rain.
I agree completely. I wouldn't go see them though because of Axl. Between cancelling shows and passing out after taking stage, I'd rather not bother.

guns n roses? shit i thought they were called axl n friends now...

I'm sure they don't sound like a pile of shit but of course nobody will like the new GNR as opposed to the old GNR. I would personally go because seriously, it's Guns and Fuckin Roses. You never really know if you're going to have a second chance to see them again. Go while you can. I think it's worth it even with Axl's antics.

you wont get a show like original gnr. but youll certainly get a great show anyhow, i went to see them in brum and i got an axl rant at security guards was great. i think my gig the only gig where axl was on time. Really good show, they played lots of appetite era, few newer songs, and not very many from illusions era.
