on the album, Paolo doesn't sing in detonation. There are already dozens of threads about the vocals on The Crusade, check those out.

Not getting the question I ment like, are they all like that because they said they wanted to be influenced by a style like Lynyrd Skynyrd... does that mean they will have sweet home alabama vocals in some songs? :S

Each song really has its own thing going. Like if you put that song against say Anthem or Sadness Will Sear, vocally and musically its pretty different. Detonation is the only song on the CD that starts and ends completely different, with no real chorus or main theme. Its like a two part song I guess.

I'd say on the new album Trivium show case their versatility as well as song writting ability.
I do believe it's Lynyrd Skynyrd, btw.

That's gonna be pretty hard to pull off live, we looking at all standard tuning on this album too ye?

My question is...
I heard somewhere that they were using a five string basses and 7 string guitars on this album. Is that still going to go down? Because I know Paolo has his five string BC Rich but I don't think Dean makes any 7 string guitars that I know of.

Also I was thinking, will there be any killer bass solos on this album?
