My Chemical Romance suck donkey balls.

The Kerrang Awards have been a joke for years - it's pretty much common knowledge that the winners are always the bands that just happen to be in town on the night of the ceremony anyway.
The mag started going downhill when they took the Brick Outhouse cartoon out and changing Pandora Peroxide to Pandora was the final death knell for it! There's just 2 writers who know the first thing about metal - who both happen to be dead cool guys too. I blame Phil bloody Alexander for ruining what was once a respectable rock/metal magazine!
Having said that, I'd still write for them if they paid me

which is fair enough prof.. but, would you be able to write a serious album review for a band like my chemical romance or the lost fucking prophets? even if you were getting paid for it. i mean i havnt read an issue of kerrang for yyyyeaaaarrrssss but i dont think they feature many (in my oppinion) 'good' bands anyway, so would you struggle to write for that particular mag?

You are confusing the Kerrang awards with the Metal Hammer awards. The MH awards is the day after Download and hence the winners are always the bands that just happen to be in town on the night of the ceremony. The Kerrang awards is well established and better organised.
