I hope i'm not the only one here who plays keyboards and synths?
I'm really in need of more money/equipment, but at the moment with my band (which isn't remotely metal), i play a retro Yamaha SY-22 for my piano and strings sounds, and i use a 61-key midi keyboard controller to play the Image-Line Wasp VST, which is kinda like an emulated 2 oscillator analogue synthesizer, sort of along the lines of the Moog Concertmate MG-1, so i've got all my controller knobs set up for my envelopes and LFOs and stuff
I'm interested to know if anyone else even understood the second part of what i just wrote?

I'm a bit of a synth n00b, but I'm starting to understand mine a bit more. I just got the Korg Triton 88 key model not long ago. Definitely a sweet synth.

I'm a synth n00b too really, but mainly because of the money side of it... I think i understand a fair amount, or at least the basics, i'm still relatively clueless on some things. I most of my stuff is done with soft synths on FL Studio though, which makes it a lot cheaper (free) thanks to the internet
Can anyone recommend any easy-ish powermetal songs for keyboard? I know loads of theory and scales, but the only song i've bothered with is Fullmoon by Sonata, for the piano part at the beginning which i have down clean now, but the rest of the song is just chords so i couldn't be arsed with it.
Any suggestions?
