I was just wonerdering if any one else noticed the similarity between the beginning of the Leper Messiah solo and the riff/solo (or w/e it is) in The Crusade at around 6 minutes??

no... i haven't noticed one thing from ANY Metallica song.
actually... i haven't noticed anything from any other band that people claim to it have came from in anything Trivium has ever done. unless it was a cover song.

Unrepentant shouldn't need to say which one that resides too....Lyrics in it are awesome though

You never noticed because it sounds nothing like Leper Messiah. I wish people would quit making accusations of trivium's songs always sounding like someone elses songs, its getting pretty stupid now that everytime I come to this forum theres always a thread titled "This song sounds like this one!".

No, but the beginning of Unrepentant is almost the same as Metallica's Through The Never (if you say no it's because you don't know the song)

Though the Leper Messiah - Crusade comparison is, unsurprisingly, just not really true. Sounds a bit like it, but not much.

I'm not accusing Trivium of writing a song that sounds like someone elses song, all im sayin, is that the beginning of the leper messiah solo sounds very similar to one riff in the song "The crusade", at around 6 minutes.

Yeap Iv noticed it, noticed it the first time I heard the thing, that said, what the Crusade came out i was listening to Puppets etc a lot. In fact, most songs on the Crusade sound a lot like other Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax tracks.

Honestly we have a lot of these comparison topics, and honestly I don't think they deserve their own topic. they may deserve a three or four post discussion in the trivium general discussion section, but most of these topics just turn into trivium or comparison bashing topics.
