hey, does ANYONE have the solo that matt played on ascendancy? i mean.. the exact solo. i found 1 version but its not the way he plays it. so anyone?

a trick i learned is when u dont have enough frets(considering i only have 22) is to just bend up on the higher notes on your highest fret if u know what i mean

Yeah, like for example if you bend the 6th fret just to the right level it will sound like the 7th.

thats proper bending, bending isn't usually just randomly bent, its usually a half or full step. this song can be played with 22 frets, i did it in the video. Plus its a bend at the end of the song anyway where if u bend hard enough, it would be as if you were playing the 24th fret

it's the same thing...just played lower on the fretboard, n...honestly its right either way, but he plays it 90% of the time the way i tabbed it, w/e's easier for you i guess...

well.. ive seen many like light solos videos from matt and he always plays it lower on the fretboard because his gibson had only 22 frets as well, anyone able to tab out the lower thing?
he also played it in a different way at the rochester show as you can see in the vid
