What is everyone's opinion on the EC - 1000 because im considering buying one of them

I use an EC-1000 black. It has the EMGs. It is a great guitar. I am always gettign compliments on the looks but also how it plays. I have mine set up with low action and Ernie Ball Skinny top heavy bottom strings(10 - 52)
It has a very fast neck. Very good for sweeping and fast playing. The body has a good weight to it ...it is not as heavy as a les paul but heavier than a strat. Which is the other guitar I use in this band. It is not neck heavy either cuz I am the singer too so I can't have guitars wanting to take a dive head first as so as I take my hands of one. Sorry for the long post but that is a great guitar. Ps My other guitarist has an Eclipse (ESP the real deal) and Mine plays better than his and it is a little cheaper. Moral of the story GET THAT GUITAR! lates.

I have one, black w/ EMG's. It's definately not a cheap guitar. I think that it's probably the best guitar in it's price range. If your not going to spend 2-3k, get an EC-1000. I don't think you'll be disappointed whatsoever.

emg's are good for mid scooped tones, other than that they are useless.
