I was SHOCKED when my friend said that Fall Out Boy's lyrics were more deep than Trivium's lyrics. The way I see it, FOB's lyrics are more, ah, childish, as if a 5 year old wrote them, while Trivium's lyrics are sophisticated, if you know what I mean.

Fall Out Boy's lyrics are retarded in comparison to Trivium's. Matt is quite an intellectual person, but FOB's singer is just an emotional weiner.

Do me a favor and hunt down the blaspheme who said that and run him through with a chainsaw, please. I can't believe even a FOB fan would have the nerve to say FOB's lyrics are remotely close to the kickassery of Trivium's. Most FOB fans I talk to usually stutter like a moron whenever I ask why they like them. Here's a basic outline of my conversation with FOB fans.
Pussy Emo whiner: I like Fall Out Boy a lot.
The Viking: Fall Out Boy sucks.
Pussy Emo Whiner: Uh, uh, um... Fall out Boy may suck, but they have good quitar and bass riffs.
The Viking: Nice one, dumbass. That'll be a great review in Alternative Press. :?

Two mistakes in the lyrics.
In 'Declaration' the words are "And to you Bigot, Cretin Ignoramus". I checked in the Ascendancy booklet aswell, and the word "Ignoramus" is there.
In "Pull Harder...", at the end of each verse Matt screams [i]Pull. Harder. Strings. Martyr."
, but this thread gives us "Pull Harder on the strings of you Martyr" which i've never heard on the song and does not feature in the booklet. Somebody has pointed that mistake out before but I thought someone should do it again.
Those mistakes are on Trivium World aswell.

Hey,
has anyone noticed this:
on pull harder the verse:
Burned, staked, ripped apart, I avenge.
Sounds like:
First they drink the blood of your words.
Anyone??
I found it hilarious and odd that I interpreted it like that first. but seriously it does sound like that.
