I think that because they have a massive fan base here now, they think they don't have to come here too often. |

QUOTE(Fugue @ Feb 27 2008, 04:56 PM) Though I do agree with you on the whole them not touring the UK thing, despite Lars promising an 'arena tour of England' this year in an interview after the Wembley gig....

Yeah, it would be an immense tour though, if they actually toured the country. They haven't toured for so long the crowd response would verge on fanatical almost I think. |

I'm sure there'll be an England Arena Tour. This is probably the first leg of the World Tour. In the Summer they always play festivals. Especially in Europe, where most bands would prefer to play in the Summer anway. Once it hits September they'll probably do a North American tour then an England tour. They owe us. I wouldn't be suprised if this Summer they'll play at Wembley, I'd definetly be there. Last year was phenomenal. |

If they just play a date in Wembley, a date in Scotland and a couple of festivals I'll think they're a fucking joke. Like you said, they owe us.. and they owe us more than a couple of one of gigs and a couple of shitty festivals.

I doubt they'll play Wembley, and its pretty much known that they're playing Leeds Reading this summer, though that is not in sync with the other festival dates this year so who knows, they may do a tour. |
