How much would I be expected to pay for a microphone for my vocalist, preferably with a stand and all the necessary stuff, and what do they plug into etc, I don't know anything about this really. Any suggestions of models or whatever would be great. |

well if it was me i would make the guy buy his own gear. that way he gets what he wants and you know he's serious about the band because he's just spent heaps of money on it |

if you want a decent mic i have a shure beta cant remember exactly what model but i know its the same as ville valo's and iggy pops. and that cost me 430 AU with mic stand, leads, foam covering and gaffa tape |

No; and No. SM 58 For vocalist, around 150 with cables and a stand and such. |

Thanks for the suggestions i will look into it, for the moment my school's music department is lending us one so i'm set for a while. |
