September 16, 2009 1:56:44 AM UTC Post #1

hey all, my high e string is like 1/2 a fret out so if i do something in the enter sandman solo:

Eb|--17p14----17p14-----17p14--19p15----19p15-----19p15---21p17----21p17---
Bb|--------15-------15---------------17-------17----------------17-------17
Gb|------------------------------------------------------------------------
Db|------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ab|------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eb|------------------------------------------------------------------------
like that, the 17s and 14s will sound about 1/2 a fret lower :S
help?

Try tuning your guitar.
but...
assuming its tuned, sounds like you need to get your intonation fixed. take it to a shop and they'll do it for you for a price, or do it yourself. google it.

yup. if the guitar is intune and your out its your intonation. its not that hard to fix your self but its much easier to get it professionally done. shouldn't cost much.
its basically just adjusting the saddles that your strings sit on
