My first gig

At the age of 14 I attended my first gig and what a night to remember two of my favorite bands which to this day still are in one place, the support was up and coming hard rocker Lauren Harris who had roughly half of the crown turn to see her. At the age of 14 I found this many people together under one roof astonishing that every one had the same taste to music, next up was Trivium who had just released the third record the crusade ( personally I think all there albums are brilliant), the crown gathered in the interrim between bands It ws amazing seeing every one tightly packed and ready for a night of metal but also fun. Trivium as alway performed an amazing show with most pits ( I was sitting in the middle seats to the left hand side),flashing lights and the usual crunching tone and quality songs which they are known for. I was in absolute awe seeing Trivium on stage the songs, the envrionment, the fanbases of metal new and old coming together was amazing that night. Trivium in my mind have always been on the list of bands to go see and this night backed up my opinion

The fun was not yet over with British Metal supremos Iron Maiden being the next and last band of the night to play they who played a matter of life and death in its entirety. They peformed an amazingly stage show filled with energy and of course mascot Eddie riding in on a tank the energy omitting from the stage was amazing with Iron Maiden performing.

The best way of describing a goog gig is electricity in the air the thumping of each members rhythem section going through you and the bands playing there hearts out, this night met all of these qualities and still cements in my mind a great gig. To this day I still have the t-shirt and also the tour program.
