New Gibson Interview with Matt

Trivium have always made great albums. Ember to Inferno and Ascendency featured strong metalcore elements, The Crusade dwelt more on thrash metal riffage, and Shogun had a heavy emphasis on 7-string guitars and intense instrumental workouts. The band’s fifth studio album (due out August 9), In Waves, is like all of them and none of them. There is power, aggression, energy, melody, intricate riffs, flirtation with Pantera-style groove-metal rhythm patterns, tight song structures, and the best sonic presentation the band has ever had.

I agree with Matt on this one. I have'nt been excited for a record in a long time.. As much as I love the net, it ruins the excitment. Please don't realese more tracks from 'In Waves' three songs is enough for now, ha! Back in the days I always relied on Kerrang tv (bag head ftw) and magazines to find info on music and tours! How time's have changed.
