so the new mendeed album 'the dead live by love' came out a few weeks ago. i really enjoyed the first album but when i got this it was just more of the same. nothing much had changed although the solos have improved slightly but overall i just think that its a bland album with no real progression from the last album. what do ye think of it?

Rick already mentioned that in another thread about a couple of new songs a while back.

thought it was a big step up, actually..enjoy every song on there, unlike the previous albums.

I think it's great. Big improvement on the first album and more clean vocals makes for better listening.

I agree. I was listening to 'Mask of Sanity' by CoB on my mp3 player a few weeks ago and noticed that Dave Proctor seems to have a similar delivery.

The vocal's annoy me sometimes, but that aside, they're awesome.
