Army Surplus shops are definitely the best place to look for army boots, I got several pairs of British Army "assault boots" from my local one from when I was about 12 or 13. Last year I invested in a pair of German Army Para boots though, couldn't find them in shops anywhere so got them from www.surplusandadventure.com

tbh from the age of 11 I really havent worn much else than me assaults, they are fooking cheap if you pick em up as surplus, 20 quid , and they last for a good while depending on the abuse you deal out to em
