Been listening to these progressively more as of late.
I'm not quite sure what it is that appeals to me, but I know I keep coming back for more.

I'm not the biggest fan but they do have some amazing songs.

I think they're hugely over-rated, "...Nephren-Ka" is still by far the best thing they've done IMO. The last few albums I've found I've liked certain parts of songs (mostly the intros/outros and interludes ) but I've found the actual death metal part of their sound to be incredibly monotonous and dull for the most part - I actually enjoyed Karl Sanders' solo album far more than anything Nile have done since "Black Seeds..."

Karl Sanders solo work is quite impressive.
Have y'all seen his Guitar? The double twin V with a scalloped(sp) Fretboard?
I wouldn't mind a quick play on it..

Agreed.

I like Nile, but can't stand Death Metal Vocals.

I think Annihilation of the Wicked is the best thing theyve done personally. Black Seeds is a great album and their early work is stellar also but i find myself listenin to more of AOTW.

Anything with great production pleases me. Although the tone was VERY gainy on Annihilation of the Wicked, it was still good, but that's the way death metal is supposed to be anyway.
I liked the few tracks I heard off that album. I've only really heard a few of the other songs too. I don't have the resources to get any more of it so I guess I'm stuck with nothing haha.
