^^yeah that's what i was wondering but some one on here told me that Prometheus  was put on a cross...
"Prometheus, in eternal punishment, is chained to a rock in the Caucasus, where his liver is eaten daily by an eagle (some say a vulture), only to be regenerated, due to his immortality, by night .[4] Years later the Greek hero Heracles would shoot the vulture (or eagle) and free Prometheus from his chains.[5]"

...but MAYBE it's just a metaphor or something, idk

Nothing to do with Christianity to all i know. The greeks didnt use crucifix's, I THINK the roman's were the first.

^^^ No one knows who used the crucifix first. Like the swastika before the Nazis, it had other representations before it was used as the symbol of Christianity. It's a very ancient symbol and was and sometimes still is, used as a representation of the four cardinal points (north, south, east and west).

Like every other myth and legend, the tale of Prometheus has been distorted, rewritten and embellished. What we know now is probably vastly different to what it was way back when.
I'm not very familiar with Prometheus, and there's only one correlation with Christianity that I can find, which is that in one version of his myth, Prometheus created the human race out of clay.
Genesis tells us God created man in the image of himself from dust, and woman from the man's rib.

Life's a grave... dig it!

yeh haha. ancient history requires a lot of criticism and you have to be prepared to get your hands dirty lol. you can get what seems to be an extremely reliable souce, but it may not be 100% accurate as a result of the dominant minds of the time; it could be extremely bias.
