I'd say Incantation were more doomy than blackened to be honest. Along with the likes of Grave and Asphyx they always had those huge, dirgy riffs that were obviously a big influence on the sludge/doom sound bands like Grief are so good at. |

That they are. The last time I saw Incantation live was with Malevolent Creation, could barely move my neck for 2 days after that one! |

Anyone else have Grotesque's In The Embrace Of Evil? It was the band Tomas Lindberg was in before At The Gates. It was reissued some time back on the same CD as ATG's Gardens Of Grief EP, not sure if that's still available though or whether they've both had separate re-releases since. |

I don't own it.. but I have heard the odd track on myspace, I think. I discovered them a while back and tried to track down a copy of their EP (and failed)
