OMG Trivium lyrics in Devildriver album sleeve
September 16, 2009 1:56:18 AM UTC Post #1

I got a Devildriver album for my birthday today and on one side of the sleeve was the related Devildriver print, but on the other was the lyrics to the whole of Ascendancy
Anyone else got one of these printing errors?

When i realised i had an album with a misprinted inlay i went back into the shop and exchanged it. Ide much rather have an album with the correct lyrics/notes in than a misprinted booklet (from another album that i already had)

That's kind of sad that they'd make those kind of mistakes.

Sometimes shit happens in production. Its nothing to do with roadrunner, its just a factory accident. Shit happens

Right ... but Maiden is Maiden. These are lyrics from a completely different band in a sleeve. I think that's a major mess up. Although, you're right, it's not nearly as rare as say Sonata Arctica's first 200 prints of Orientation. One of the songs was slowed down by accident when it was copied.

These generally arent worth anything unless there is something majorly wrong with them and they need called back in or something because of something really shocking in them. There does tend to be a lot of things like this though - in all the remastered Maiden album booklets theres a shiteload of mistakes, wrong song lyrics from different albums, wrong photoes from different tours and albums, wrong eddies etc all over the place etc, tends to be pretty common if you look for these things.

Or you could sell the messed up one and buy 100 other 'correct' albums
