In ways, yes..
Mac's displays are amazing compared to any windows based display.
Mac's run rather well although they are filling with normal hardware now. A 2.16 ghz mac will run like a 3.2 ghz pc right now.
Mac's OS is much more stable and the user based features are amazing. Things like this:




Being able to with either the middle click on the mouse or moving the cursor to the top right corner of the screen - make all your current windows display like that, extremely seemlessly. NO wait or lag time.
The OS itself zooms in if you hold control and scroll up with the mouse. Like so:

This makes using Photoshop like.. 100x more powerful and more efficient.
