I don't practice religiously everyday. I might not be able to shred as well as many people who haven't been playing as long as me, but I prefer to play for fun. When I do play, it can sometimes be for just 15 minutes and that's ok. I tend to only play stuff I've written now, or to try and write new stuff.

Yeah, I used to practice a lot, but that's kindas drifted out of tradition. I'm saving up for a 6505 and some cab. I'll probably play a lot more when I get those 2

Its not that im not interested, guiytar conusmes my life. But I dont do hardcore metronome practices like I used too. I used to sit with a metronome for hours on end. Now I just learn songs, without hardcore practicing. I'm more intersted in phrasing, pitch recognition (using the whammy like Eklundh), note choice, and vibratto.

I started focusing less on metronomic practice and went to more technical stuff, like whammy bar techniques. Although I don't try a lot of the stuff that Mattias does. I'm learning a lot of Alexi's whammy tricks, as well as getting a better handle on sweep arpeggios. Other than that I just learn songs. I don't use a metronome anymroe

I play anywhere from 2-8 hours a day.It varies on practice though, some days I don't have the time to pick up the guitar, but I try and find the time whenever I can.I only literally practice probably half the time I play.I write and record at least 6 new riffs a day on to my Boss 8 track and store them all on my computer,so when I'm writing a new song,I can always go and get an idea for a missing part. But yeah,I carry my guitar around with me everywhere when I'm at home.
