LOL @ Reviewers! Why should his opinion matter more than our own?
His obviously tone deaf for thinking we wouldn't care if mouth of hell should be deleted...
This review is no surprise to me though, a lot of reviews of the crusade said it sucked, and it was the album that got me into trivium!!

We'll see about this when it's released.

Though this review gives me the impression the listener didn't sit back and take the album for what it was ENTIRELY. Which, in my opinion, is how all album reviews should be approached.
Trivium are far from copycats and criticizing Travis for not having offbeat drumming is hardly fair, given it's entirely his - and the bands- choice.

I doubt any tracks could have been deleted from this album and "Not been missed" or that any of it is remotely bad.

And these days no one will brand something "Extreme" unless it has piss poor riffs, overproduced with some trying-too-hard gore album cover that has little to say other than "Hi there, we're a really really mean group of guys who, for some reason, instead of going round doing all the brutal shit we mouth off about in our songs - choose to go on tour and play guitars. Which back in kiddies school was usually considered to be gay."
: |

Shit can be brutal without having 100 layers of distortion over it or being in Drop A.
And shit can be Thrash without sticking to the old formula.

I wouldn't be a fan of Trivium if they didn't constantly have something worthwhile to say with well thought out music. : |

Anyhow, I get on these topics then rant far too much about them, repeat myself a little and then I realize I'm just OCDing out and typing like a madman. So I'll stop here.

But frankly, Trivium is the Shogun of metal. >]

^^ nice touch with the "trivium is the shogun of metal
+1
...you gotta admit though when you start to play something in drop A you immediately begin to ruin you underwear. myth busters was wrong, the brown note DOES exist! lol
