I own a razorback, and I love it.The Dime-O-Flame is a pretty good guitar, but it does not compare in the least bit to a Razorback or an american series. The Razorback plays like a dream, and I HIGHLY recomend trying one out.How is it bad if more people are playing them now?Look at every other company on the planet and tell me that more sales is bad for business.

I'll be honest,it was Matt who got me into Dean.Back in feb.,he let me play his custom transblack ML and I LOVED it.The V neck, the unique shape, the TONE the thing delivered was completely new.I loved it,and I still do.

i'm not a dean expert but i would say which ever shape you prefer. they have the same electronics and tremolo. i'm not a huge fan of either but whatever floats your boat.if your not 100% positive on one, i'd check out carvin, they will build the guitar of your dreams and won't overcharge you.

Seriously people, before Razorbacks turned cool, everybody in this board wanted a Les Paul.

I wanted an explorer ... and then I got my 83 Ibanez destroyer, and it's not really playable. So I still want one.

QUOTE(Madden)Oh, its great for Dean, but when you see everyone playing these big guitars up on stage, they always catch used to catch my attention. But now, I sorta look at them when I see someone playing one and think "meh". Dean have plenty of other great guitars, but when most kids are just picking up Razorbacks or MLs because "OMGZEEZ!1!11 D1m3b4g, l0LLz" "t3h Tr1v1umz0rz!". Its a taste thing, and personally, Im not a fan of this trend. Whatever provides buoyancy on your vessel, I suppose.

i love the Razorback and the various MLs, but for such a different shape they are becoming too commonplace.
The Dean Vs are really good though, and i got my eye on a Dean hardtail atm, beautiful guitar, well worth the £700 it looks like i'm gonna be paying for it.

I never had a problem with Dean before Trivium played them, but I never had the chance to try one. After I got to try Matt's,it played great and sounded kick ass. So,I went and checked out what else they made.I love V necks MUCH more than I do a C style.
