@ErikMapexSabian: There is many trivium songs in which he does the same thing. Thats is unoriginal. Now like Pull Harder, and Suffocating Sight, he does amazing. I didnt say he was a bad drummer, i just said he was sometimes lazy and unoriginal. hes a very good drummer. but i think nick is alot better.

Travis was not unoriginal or lazy. He kept the beat and provided new beats through all the albums and is underrated, underappreciated in the metal drummer universe. Nick is great however, speed and his ability to change things on the fly is great. New album should be the best

Trivium:) SAID:

Nick is soooo much better than travis. Travis was lazy and unoriginal. I love how nick's blast beats tie right in to the song. Its a perfect angry, pissed off metal song. I hope they follow this song and do this in their new album. It will be epic and they will be bigger than they were before. Bravo Trivium, keept it up brothers.

its extremely hard to narrow it down to the best trivium song to date but i think personaly shattering stands just that bit above all the others. no words can describe how much i love this song, i am hoping the new album will follow this direction

UnholyDemigod SAID:

This is easily Trivium's most brutal song. For sheer primal aggression, look no further. The screaming vocals are the most intense Matt has ever done. He just sounds so pissed off! And the melody of the choruses...chorus'...chorusi? Whatever, it's fantastic. The guitar work, as always, is phenomenal and the drumming Nick brings just adds to the aural maelstrom that is 'Shattering The Skies Above'
