Single or Double locking

Shall i pay the extra money for a double locking floyd rose bridge or just get the single ?

my carvin does not have the lock nut only single and i have never had it go out of tune ever. but it might not be the case with all guitars so maybe get the double.

That makes no sense at all. I personally prefer double locking. Its kind of the whole point, you know.

If you don't know what the difference is... Single-locking is just for going down in pitch. Double-locking can go up and down in pitch.

well then i guess i have double then. if you count the sperzels as the other locking part. but i don't have the lock nut and im glad i don't

Double for sure, why would you just want a single?

most of the time there much less of a hassle. and with single you can put on a dtuna system. but you can turn your double into a single pretty easy.
