QUOTE(Metal_Lobster)All I know is I notice a huge Marty Friedman influence in Corey's playing, except, (grabs hose.) IMO, Corey's solos sound a lot more "musical," than Marty's, for the most part.  (With some obvious exceptions, of course.)
Well I disagree, vehemently. Martys been doing it a far longer time, has far more expeirence, and his over sense of melody and technique is far superior.
You can think waht you want, obviously, I'd just like to point out that I disagree

disagree with what? that marty was an influence in corey's playing? who are you to say that he wasn't an influence? you dont know.
and i too agree that corey's solos sound more musical than marty's. just cause he has more experience doesnt mean jack shit. that still doesnt mean that marty's not a good guitarist, its just that IMO corey expresses himself more musically than marty.
