Song Interpretations

Well we all know what Kirisute Gomen means
Samurai warriors' right to decapitate someone who has offended the warrior.
What do people think the lyrics mean behind the other songs? Take into consideration, a lot of it does seem to be based on Greek Mythology (i.e Of Promethus and The Crucifix, He Who Spawned the Furies, Poison, The Knife or the Noose, Like Callisto to a Star in Heaven, Insurrection)

Like Callisto... Must be about a man thinking that he is a god and forcing him upon a women, seems pretty clear to me.
Down From The Sky is about dictatorism or communism and that shit, same meaning as Pull Harder.
Of Promethus and the Crucfix is about, doing something for others and then being tortured and punished for it.
He Who Spawned the Furies is about a person who kills, who is brutal and sadistic. Something like that.
Shogun i have no freaking idea, its just epic.
Insurrection, DESTROYING THE HEAVEN!!!!
Torn between Scylla and Charybdis. Think its about making a desicion about 2 extremely hard things, thought you'll prolly lose something if you chose A or B. So you have to deside what to loose
Rest i dont really know, havent given it all that much of a thought,..
And all this is what I think, i aint saying these songs are about the exact thing

Good interpretations
Im going to take a more closer look at the myths that inspired the songs, because Im familar with the idea of Cronos eating his kids.
"In ancient Greek myths, Cronus envied the power of his father, the ruler of the universe, Ouranos. Ouranos drew the enmity of Cronus' mother, Gaia, when he hid the gigantic youngest children of Gaia, the hundred-armed Hecatonchires and one-eyed Cyclopes, in Tartarus, so that they would not see the light. Gaia created a great adamant sickle and gathered together Cronus and his brothers to persuade them to kill Ouranos. Only Cronus was willing to do the deed, so Gaia gave him the sickle and placed him in ambush. When Ouranos met with Gaia, Cronus attacked him with the sickle by cutting off his genitals, castrating him and casting the severed member into the sea. From the blood (or, by a few accounts, semen) that spilled out from Ouranos and fell upon the earth, the Gigantes, Erinyes, and Meliae were produced. From the member that was cast into the sea, Aphrodite later emerged.[3] For this, Ouranos threatened vengeance and called his sons titenes (according to Hesiod meaning "straining ones," the source of the word "titan", but this etymology is disputed) for overstepping their boundaries and daring to commit such an act."

Oh yeah Of Promethus and the Crucifix, thats about Promethus getting punished for giving men fire. Only the gods were allowed to have fire so they punished him by strapping him to a rock and letting vultures rip out his liver everyday... FOR ETERNITY!!!
I'll get a Wikipedia quote/link another time

Like Callisto To A Star In Heaven is about Callisto, who was raped and impregnated by Zeus. "Wearing a mask familiar" is about him disguising himself as the person (Artemis) that Callisto was a follower of. Zeus' wife or whatever found out about this and turned Callisto into a bear through jealousy. Callisto gave birth to her son, whom then grew up. Coincidentally, when out hunting, Callisto's son bumped into Callisto whilst he was out hunting and before Callisto's son could attack the bear (Callisto), Zeus put them both into the sky as stars (Ursula Major and Minor) or something to protect them.
Something like that anyway.

He swallowed each of his children as they were born.
Kronos (Cronos, Chronos, Cronus) Primeval Greek god of time and a former supreme god. One of the Titans. Son of Ouranos (heaven) and Gaia (earth). Consort of Rhea. Father of Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Hades and Hestia. Little worshipped by the Greeks, Kronos may represent the vestiges of a pre-Hellenic god. The worship that was accorded him was generally associated with agriculture, such as the Attican harvest festival of the Kronia. Kronos overthrew his father Ouranos, castrating him with a sickle for good measure, perhaps as a symbolic separation of heaven and earth. Fearing that his own children might do the same to him, he proceeded to swallow them. Zeus, however, was saved by Rhea, who hid him in Crete and tricked Kronos into swallowing a stone wrapped in infant's clothing. When Zeus reached maturity, he forced Kronos to disgorge his brothers and sisters, then hurled him into Tartaros. Subsequently, Kronos remained a prisoner in Tartaros, although some accounts make him the king of the Golden Age. He was generally depicted with a sickle and an hourglass. Known to the Romans as Saturn.

the furies were formed when the blood from Ouranos cock hit the earth, and Aphrodie when his blood mingled with the sea though some think its aint blood, its his cum hehehe

but yeah, lets now think of this as a metaphor
hey , we're trying to be a band and create our own music, hey we like these bands, hey wait theyre sayinhg shit about us!! saying we suck! saying we cant play!!! what the fuck, alright lets try and do this our own fucking way and fuck those bastards up!!!
