so Herakles/hercules is basically roman/greek jesus in a sense.
it follows the same path
son of a god born by a human
but
christian shit is just sugar coated
its the same thing
only mary wasn't raped instead she had an immaculate conception
and
could kirisute gomen be about the people in the middle east being insulted and decapitating american soldiers??!
i was thinking about that last night
idk
just a thought

Trivium have turned into a death metal band lyrically

I dont know if anyone has pointed this out or anything, but The Calamity seems that it deals with an asteroid or comet wiping out the earth.
Spiral faster down
Ripping a hole through the air we breathe
An apocalypse
Encased in a shell, so beautiful.
The screaming part. The lyrics and meanings of these songs are so fucking awesome, def their best writing wise.
Holding our breath now
We're screaming without sound
We're trembling as everything falls completely apart
Meteor crash down
Come crater our woe out
The banishment of everything once alive will start now
Ok that makes it obvious haha.

Imo, The Calamity is about Final Fantasy VII evil being Jenova, also called "The Calamity from the sky" during the game. The "meteor" part is also a reference to the game and we all know that Matt is a big Final Fantasy fan so I wouldn't be so surprised if I was right...

FF is not dull!! Boo on you. FF3 for SNES (FF6 in Japan) is a superb story. I think FF7 is overrated, though it is good. FF8 and 10 are just amazing. The graphics for FF10 for its time had extreme graphics with a nice story line. Overall FF3 was the game of all games that got me into gaming in the first place. I think they should remake it. I'm actually going into game development as a side project through my Computer Science and Engineering career BECAUSE of FF!
