I happened to stumble across meanings of particular songs really quite interesting. This topic might have been made already but have a look

I thought the Andrea Yates story was pretty interesting as well, though fucked up.
The Andrew Shepard story just pissed me off, that some people have that kind of ignorance.

I think the song "The Crusade" is about growing a Bonsai tree in New York City.. then taking it on a boat trip to Japan to plant it in the ground. Along the way... you play a lil poker... kill the First Mate, sail the boat yourself in the end. (after 5 days reading the latest Harry Potter book!)
Anyone else read it like that?

"And Sadness Will Sear" is one of my favourite tracks on the album. Powerful song..
