It was like a good soap on TV - occasionally with some sort of purpose but generally just a load of emotional bollox I say bring back the thread and it's glorious arguments!

If you have GP set at default, its going to sound exactly the same as PT. Because they're both just using default midi mapping, and will sound the exact same. So, in other words, if you think the GP midi sounds like crap, you tihnk PT midi sounds equally crappy.
