If you're looking for the best North American tour this summer, then you should check out the third annual Sounds of the Underground Tour. I went the past two and they were amazing. The lineup this year looks even better:
2 Cents
This is Hell
Goatwhore
The Number Twelve Looks Like You
Heavy Heavy Low Low
The Acacia Strain
Amon Amarth
Job For A Cowboy
Darkest Hour
Necro
Everytime I Die
Chimaira
Shadows Fall
GWAR
**and special guests on select dates:
Lamb Of God
Suicidal Tendencies
Testament
Hatebreed
Mushroomhead
Behemoth
All That Remains
The lineup is unbeatable and at the same time represents every genre in metal.

Yeah, if i was in the US i wouldnt be going.. Theres only a hand full of bands i would be interested in seeing on that bill. (Behemoth, Testament, GWAR, Amon Amarth and i would probably go check out Goatwhore) I wouldnt have time for the others.

Meh.. I don't see what's so particularly impressive about the lineup. GWAR puts on some killer stage shows, and I suppose I am a bit curious to hear how Goatwhore sound since I really haven't kept track of them, but I'm not forcing myself to endure the rest of that lineup for the sake of two bands I'd like to see on there.

QUOTE(Asphyxiated. @ Jun 22 2007, 01:36 PM) The line up IS unbeatable, and it DOESN'T represent every genre of metal. The SOTU show in my town is on the same day as Symphony X, and I've already seen the 5 bands worth seeing on this bill multiple times, so Symphony X it is.
I have not seen Amon Amarth or Goatwhore so that is why i an gong.
new albums from there are the shit.
