QUOTE(Mattie @ Apr 19 2009, 04:09 PM) You're more into bands that they've somehow inspired though...
It's all good man!
Its not even about that though, im not going to say i like them just because they are a legendary band that has influenced alot of bands, some bands i like, some for some reason i just cant fully get into for some time, but once in a while i like their songs, just not as much as most of the bands i like

I love Suffocation - easily one of my very favourite bands.
Tracks like Liege of Inveracity, Thrones of Blood, Pierced From Within, Infecting The Crypts....man they just slay.
Only album that I need to give more listening to is Souls to Deny, as I dont love it like the others, yet.

Souls to Deny is a great album but it feels "generic" next to the rest of their releases. It's their most "straight forward" Death metal album. lol

Listened to Souls again today - its a good album, not a great one.
Cant wait till Suffo have eventually re-recorded all of Breeding The Spawn - theyve done the title track, Anamolistic Offerings, Prelude To Repulsion, now Marital Decimation...we're getting there.

I know they're an American band, but I think it's pretty shit that the 'blood-red' version is exclusive to North America.. (Unless you can just order it from the U.S webstore?) Anyways, I watched the "Mental Hemorrhage" video, sounds pretty cool.. and the final artwork looks even better now.
Frank Mullen is a scary man.

Pretty sure u can order off the US webstore Podgie, thats what I anticipate doing anyway.
Mental Haemorrage sounds badass, cant wait to hear a studio version.
I hope the production is top notch, S/T was OK - guitars were a little fuzzy for mine. Needs a more pumelling sound.

Depending on the price, I may join you in doing that.

Not sure know if you guys already knew but the entire album is streaming on the band's MySpace now. I'm just over half way through and I have to say it's sounding pretty good.
Not sure if this is really cool, or really ugly though.
