QUOTE(BigDeech)A 90 minute set is usually the norm. Its amazing how I saw them open up for Bodom last year in NYC at Irving, which only holds 1k. Now Trivium should be able to headline a bigger venue since theyre up to 170k albums sold with Ascendancy and its still selling over 1600 a week. Even if you guys don't know, thats a lot for a newer metal band. Its Amazing since that was in support of Ascendancy and the new album will only be out a few days by the time the tour rolls around. I've seen Trivium 4 times, never headlining so I can't wait. Hopefully we'll get a sold out show at a good size club in NYC this October!
I know NY will give Trivium the reception that they deserve. I'll never forget the first time I saw Trivium at the Downtown club. Even though they were opening for Chimaira, they tore the place up from the second they came on the stage. It was a small intimate club, the pit was insane, lotsa crowd movement etc. Everyone was yelling 'We Want More' for a while after they got off stage but trivium prolly couldn't come out cuz they were still an opening act. I kinda felt bad for Chimaira, it was like they got the sloppy seconds of Trivium's roaring crowd. Matt came out later that night and said that was the best crowd reaction they got thus far and did i mentioned he jumped into the crowd while singing on that show..it's the only time I saw him do that! Keep in mind this was when Ascendancy first came out so I think even the band was shocked that everyone was screaming along all the words to their songs w/ horns up. I saw 'em again at irving plaza w/ bodom, and also at webster hall w/ in flames, both amazing shows but nothing compares to that first time....until this coming fall that is  gonna be a sick show w/ them headlining!
