lol ok man. I was just saying that in my oppinion Trivium are far better musicians and are capable of producing impressive instrumental peices of music such as 'The Crusade' where as i simply dont think BFMV are..

the crusade pulls together that whole album, like Psycho Therapy said. It's kind of like when you've gone on a kick ass trip and are sitting there on the ride home saying to yourself, "Dude, that was kick ass."

I don't really like it. It's good. But I'm just not a big fan of instrumentals..

BFMV is a horrible, horrible band.

A very kick ass intrumental.
There's only two things I don't like in it though.
Some parts just seem as if they have been thrown together.
And the song doesn't come to any sort of... conclusion. I think a big epic finale would be cool.

I think it's the best song on the album. And for the record,Paolo's bass is fairly audible (and cool at that).
And about Bullet for my valentine: I remember back in 2004,when I first heard Trivium,and I (coincidentally) heard Bullet for my valentine for the first time that same day. I actually thought (because mainstream metal in 2004 was a joke,still is kinda) "These bands have the potential to garner some credibility for metal in mainstream,YUS". So I was all excited waiting for Ascendancy,and sure enough it was deadly. However, when "the poison" came out,I could only really listen to it for a couple of months,and even then it was the bare few songs. Their lead guitarist is shit. Out of all the solos on the album I think about two have more than four notes. And the predictable and overused riffs...and then there's the fucking HORRIBLY overplayed emo subject mater. Potentially good band,conforming to a trend....*spits*

Dont get me wrong, i think theyre shit and i dont enjoy their music at all. I just dont think a Trivium thread is the place for slagging off BFMV..
