I'm pretty sure he just sang them, because that song was not written by him. Could be mistaken though.

I also had trouble with The End lyrics once....lol
and i never could be bothered to look them up to but then eventually i did once day
i thought it was something like
"Everyone will be washed away, drowning in the hell that we made, I cannot believe that i had this only".
^it does sound like that though.

matt didnt just sing the song. he wrote the lyrics and one of the guitars
