If you sampled the public, im sure you'd find that of those that frequented forums, there was a huge surge in intelligents, it stands to reason.

Well that just took up a good chunk of my evening lol!
I got 135 - last time I took this test I got 140 so I suppose that's what happens when you fall off horses and land on your head! Hopefully that trend doesn't continue or my IQ will be about 20 in 10 years time....
"Your mind's strengths allow you to think ahead of the game -- to imagine or anticipate what should happen next in just about any situation. Because you're equally skilled in the numerical and verbal universes of the brain, you can draw from multiple sources of information to come up with new ideas and this makes you a Visionary Philosopher.
You also have a knack for matching and anticipating patterns in all sorts of situations, a talent that adds to your visionary philosopher mind. "
QUOTEBecause you're equally skilled in the numerical and verbal universes of the brain...
Guess I forget to tell it I flunked maths in a big way and was top of my class in English.... *cough*.
Oh yeah, found this, might interest some of you who were talking about intelligence in relation to metal:
"Heavy metal 'a comfort for the bright child'" article
QUOTEResearchers found that, far from being a sign of delinquency and poor academic ability, many adolescent "metalheads" are extremely bright and often use the music to help them deal with the stresses and strains of being gifted social outsiders.

Life's a grave... dig it!

hmm, 131, not genius-brilliant, but its good enough. Its kinda what I expected, though I have got as high as 145 before.

QUOTE(cysquatch @ Jul 8 2007, 07:38 PM) IQ = Your physical age / your mental age * 100. So, If I am 17 and my mental age Is 17, my IQ will be 100. But, if my mental age is 15 (and my psysical age is 17), I will get less thatn 100.
108 is not a bad result at all.
That really doesn't seem to make sense at all.
A 50 year old with a mental age of a 45 year old shouldn't have an IQ below 100, that would just be silly.
It can't be based on mental age.

Congratulations, Mark!
Your IQ score is 122

This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.
Your Intellectual Type is Word Warrior. This means you have exceptional verbal skills. You can easily make sense of complex issues and take an unusually creative approach to solving problems. Your strengths also make you a visionary. Even without trying you're able to come up with lots of new and creative ideas. And that's just a small part of what we know about you from your test results.
haha i took a timed test last year at when i was 16 and got 135

July 08, 2007 2:36:31 PM UTC Post #10

This is not the official IQ test. The official one has 400 questions on it and consists of 8 parts. Then one you are doing is the short one. I got 132 on the big one)
