I for one love the song, i think the lyrics are amazing and the solos are off the chain but i've been hearing that some people see it as a 'luvvy duvvy' emo song, which i think is bullshit. I love it!!!!!
What are your views????????

I could care less people's opinions on it really. It's a controversial song, and I know Matt loves that. I think it's a very mature, well written ballad.

I love ballads. Its good to see some bands aint afraid of writing a good positive rock the fuck out love song these days.
And it has the riffage to go with it.
Love it!

exactly. what's wrong with a metal band writing a love song? nothing.

nothing wrong with it, just shows metallers have emotions but can use them properly in songs unlike the whiney emos

Fuckin' awesome song! We can't blame Trivium of making a song "slow" , metal isn't only trash and brutal song! This song is very beautiful, and as you said, I don't care about what people think about, I definitly love it!

Bands in the 80s like Motley Crue, Metallica, & many others have ballads among the many songs they recorded
(i.e. "Home Sweet Home", "Nothing Else Matters", etc.)
Metalheads today are used to songs that sound exactly the same, anything that resembled a ballad would be labeled "emo".

i'm glad everyone shares the same views. I love this song and i cant wait to here it live. Well done TRIVIUM!!!!

I love this song,
I don't care if someone calls it emo,
They can kiss my ass!
Its a damn good song!
Far better than any of songs Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Toilet can write!
Love the lyrics,
Nice one Trivium!
