Trivium Demo

I consider that way too much money to pay for a CD. I wouldn't mind downloading these tracks just because it's so hard to come across the actual CD. I agree with you in every other respect though.

Most of the time I download stuff that I can't find because I live in a pretty damn middle of fucking know where town and it's hard to come across stuff. Also I think $10-$15 is way to much for a damn CD. And I download rare stuff and bootlegs. Like the Trivium Live In Stuttgart Germany i'm listening to right now.

It is alot of money and to be honest i probably wouldnt pay £200 for a cd.. i just used that figure as an example.. I mean if a authentic copy of the demo came up on ebay it would most likely go for less than £100..
The most i have ever spent on a cd/vinyl is a signed vinyl of scream bloody gore, which i paid £120 for.. I dont really think ide pay much more than that for anything

I agree with you there. I live it Middlesbrough (you probably wont have heard of it coming from the US) but its hard to come across much here either as its only a relativly small town with two music shops.. so i know what your going through! I end up traveling to a city near by called Newcastle to pick up alot of my cds, also end up searching the internet for hours..

I myself buy a lot of albums, I've slowed down recently but if I hear or find something I like, I buy it. I've ordered several hundred dollars worth of cds off amazon. My problem with paying $200 for an album off ebay is that it doesn't go to the artist, if it did, sure I'd do it. But I don't see the point in contributing a large amount of money towards music when it doesn't go to the band. I have heard from a couple people that their copy of the demo was given to them for free at school by matt or at a show.

Which is really cool. They are lucky people.. Now that the demo is so rare is a bastard for some fans to get hold of.. (I for one will end up having to pay an over the top price for a copy if i want one, and what serious fan doesnt?) I know what your saying about paying a large amount of money for a cd on ebay and nothing going towards the artist and i tottaly agree but it may end up being the only option..
