Trivium Guitar Poll

Posts: 143 Member #: 18,213 Joined: 09/16/2009	it wouldn't surprise me if Trivium started using 12 strings,and i was wondering if anybody else felt the same,or if anyone hopes that they (Trivium) do start using 12 strings,or if they even should.i don't know if this has been asked before,so here goes...

Posts: 143 Member #: 18,213 Joined: 09/16/2009	i know,i know,i'm a bit ahead of myself,even,but because i'm guitarded and their use of 7 strings on The Crusade,i wanted to voice my thoughts and know everybody else's opinion.i'm just gonna have to pre order TC (yay,it can be done by mail!!!) so as to try to control my excitement.

Posts: 143 Member #: 18,213 Joined: 09/16/2009	neither have i,but i think that knowing that they use 7 strings on some of the songs on TC has made me think of the possibilities.ok,so i'm off to add 6 strings as an option,even though it's not in the question.erm,i couldn't find an editing option to the poll...sorry! :oops:

But I'm assuming the 12-String is playing something clean, right? I'm not saying 12 string can't be incorporated into something heavy, but like..it should be clean. A 12-string would sound terrible playing something heavy and distorted...
